Jenkins Properties Management CO., Inc. was started in 1984 to manage the investment properties of Dr. Horace Jenkins, M.D. with a specialized approach to maximize income and add value to the properties.

The success became known to other investors who sought the services of Jenkins Properties for their income properties. In time the company grew and expanded its scope of services to management of community associations like yours.

The Vision of Jenkins Properties is that whenever a resident crosses the property line, they feel: “I am happy to be home”.

In 1994 the company expanded and now is a Corporate Real Estate Brokerage firm BRE License # 01116622. The purpose of this expansion is to serve our residents and income property investors with the opportunities or needs to upgrade, exchange or downsize their properties to fit their current and future home needs. Jenkins Properties boasts of 6 Professional Real Estate Agents who continuously train and are very well connected with other stakeholders like Legal, Escrow, Lenders and Title Companies to complete a formidable Real Estate Team!

In 2015 The Company was acquired by the current owners who knew inside and out the company and were committed to keep growing and improving it, not only because of their long standing working relationship as employees of the company but also due to their training in Property Management and experience in Los Angeles, a world business capital; notwithstanding the importance of being local to the Glendale/Burbank City Area. This young infusion of assets in our team continues to keep Jenkins Properties current in the fast pace world of changes in Property Management and Legal Compliance.

John has a long relationship with Jenkins having been hired by the original family owned company in 1989. He continued his career specializing in HOA’s and other types of community interest developments. John oversees the work of all Property Managers and assists the team as needed. Managing the continuing education of each manager, John is a licensed Realtor, certified through California Association of Community Managers and is actively involved in the Community Association Institute. As real estate is one of the most personal issues for many people, John strives to create a feeling of home the moment a client arrives to their property; not just the front door.

BUSINESS MANAGER

Oscar is responsible for the financial aspect of the management process. Timely collections, payroll and bill payments are accomplished under his supervision. Accounting reports are sent monthly and are specialized to meet the needs of the property.

Charla is one of our senior account managers who handles a combined portfolio of both rentals and HOAs. Charla is also a REALTOR® and is the primary leasing agent for the office.

Sherlly comes to Jenkins from the hospitality industry in accounts receivables. Sherlly assists the Business Manager in our accounting department. With her expert finesse of making sure payments are received and recorded timely, Sherrly has assisted in the growth of the accounting department’s functionality. She prepares account payables, manages client documentation and fills the office with life and laughter. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, Sherrly grew up in Caracas, Venezuela.

Carl works at our client’s buildings as well as maintains the workshop and office at Jenkins Properties. His many years of maintenance experience means that Carl optimizes his time in the field and is able to reduce overall costs. Carl is an integral part of Jenkins maintenance programs which assure that small problems are fixed promptly and don’t turn into big issues. Carl is always will to help. He regularly goes above and beyond what is expected and provides superior customer service.

Greg manages Community Associations with a focus on assisting the Board of Directors fulfill their duties and obligations. He also manages single family residential rental properties. Greg believes in prompt and professional service. He attends education classes and seminars regularly in order to keep himself, his Board of Directors and Owners apprised of new laws and regulations. Greg also manages Jenkins’ maintenance department. He knows the importance of regular maintenance and believes in capital improvement projects. Maintenance programs assure that small problems are addressed before they can grow into major problems.
